Nascar Heat 2 Gameplay

I'm sure it's on easy and the damage is turned off but that just looks too much like an arcade game.Definitely need to see more before I buy this. Maybe career mode will save it for me, but damage model has to be more realistic and need physics to punish for bouncing off of cars or the walls.Just my opinion.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk ProYeah, it's definitely on easy, or normal (whatever they called it last year) and not on the simulation driving model. The sim model in last years game you'd have a hard time controlling the car like that bumping off everyone and driving half on the banking, half on the apron without spinning out. Damage also appears to be off in this as well.My biggest gripe with the video is the AI seems to be like tanks again too, just stuck to the track. Again, could be the setting they're playing on, but I found the AI too stuck to the track compared to the player car in all modes last year.

The game still looks like 4 year old graphics to me. With great looking racing games like GT Sport, Project Cars, Dirt 4, Drive Club and so on, these guys really need to update the look of this game.Exactly. I mean, it looks good, but it's nowhere near what it should. It's like the Golf Club 2 to me.

Does it look good? Does it look like a 2017 XB1, PS4, or PC game should look? Absolutely not. That's disappointing, but I'm sure it's being held back by Unity or something. It's a shame really.

The tech is there, and the power is there in the consoles, and of course on gaming PC's so I'd like to see it improved. If the frame rate on the consoles isn't better this year the whole thing will be a lost cause to me. It sure seemed like it struggled to even maintain 30 last year.I'd love to see a visual upgrade, but I just don't see it happening anytime soon given their resources and possibly the limitations of the engine and such.Really wish they'd shared information about specific features and improvements though, rather than just say we implemented fan feedback. Great, in regards to what though? Lots of time before release, I get it, I just thought they'd want to get that stuff out there early given how rough the first one went over initially. Was it me, but why show a game where all they had to do was push the pedal down and steer to pass EVERY car on the track?I was really hoping to get a good NASCAR game finally.this only deflates those hopes.I'm not sure why they'd show it off that way either.

However, if you didn't play the first one, I'd say you can rest assured that the game isn't simply floor it and drive by everyone without a problem.
