The voice acting for the main protagonist sounds like what you expect somebody's first emo OC on deviantart. The fairy cat thing that follows you has a real annoying high pitched voice that hurts to hear.

The story is generally just ok, you can kinda guess the story trends as they go. Gameplay-wise, this is a really good game. You can chain attacks after attacks that destroy every thing on screen. Its a metroidvania platformer, so take it as you will. The price is justified at $15. It has aspirations and scope. But I also couldn't get past some basic choices the devs made, like making every character a weird-looking animal-person hybrid for no clear reason. (They're not even cute.)Aside from that, I found issues with gameplay, especially combat.

It feels like you can cheese a lot with your special attack; on the other hand, using your main attacks is often frustrating. The whole system is limited and results in repetitiveness. I also had trouble distinguishing between the foreground and the background when platforming.The music is OK. Voice-over work for some characters is wonderful, but the protagonists sound super-cringy. The story was starting to get intriguing at a certain point but then went back to being silly. The antagonist's motivations are never explained and the whole thing doesn't make much sense.
